Using Your Skills to Improve Unprivileged Population

How can digital nomads help traumatised children?

Tax haven based Venture Capital & Private Equity funds are a vital source of investment for tech companies. But their increasing ownership of public services globally is harming the world’s most vulnerable populations. The event will highlight the scale of the problem & explore ways the nomad & digital community can help: How can we use digital platforms to increase public awareness of profiting from childhood trauma? And critically, how can your skills contribute to improving the lives of vulnerable populations.

What People Will Learn:
* The scale of the problem of profiting from vulnerable populations and public resources
* How all nomads have a skill that can contribute to social change to improve the disadvantaged
* The opportunity to be included in applications for grants to develop digital tools to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and families

About the speaker:
Mark is lead partner at the Centre for Outcomes of Care, a not-for-profit research centre based in the UK and lectures at the University of Kent. Predominantly he is a researcher and strategist specialising in the development of evidence based services for traumatised children and young people. Mark regularly challenges governments to improve the use of evidence in services to improve life outcomes and their evaluation methods. The projects the Centre work on are both national and international with an increasing number of collaborations with international NGOs.
