Lady Boss: How To Upgrade Yourself Personally and Professionally –FULL REGISTRATION–

Maya (Clear World Resorts from Canada) and Hasina (Holiday Canggu from France) will be sharing their personal stories on life, business, struggles, and 5 things that have upgraded themselves personally and professionally. Come share your questions and ideas, whilst networking with other lady bosses. We are bringing back this really cool event to celebrate the amazing women who are building fantastic businesses in Dojo.
Maya Rosalie Ritter grew up in Toronto, Canada and went to school for Marketing before getting her first job in Tech PR by the time she was 19. She spent Less than a year in the industry before making her first big move to Central America in 2014. From there she explored a more “alternative” way of living and learning before heading back to the big city of Toronto to spend 3 years studying and working as a personal trainer and online coach. When she got the travel bug again, she set her intentions on both living and working a broad. After 4 beautiful months travelling SE Asia she got the opportunity of a lifetime to manage a developing eco community based in Indonesia, and oversee operations of a restaurant in Canggu (All under the same company). When she left there was no doubt in her mind that she would establish herself somewhere abroad, but since then things have unfolded better than projected. She is looking forward to the future and sharing with others how she established herself and kept her sanity while in limbo!
Hasina Rm is a creative and serial entrepreneur living in Bali. Originally from Madagascar, she grew up in Paris, where her parents moved when she was two, seeking better opportunities. She went on to study for a string of degrees there, from a diploma in Law to Corporate Communication and a year learning Art Management and Curation. In Paris, she started her career as a PR assistant, handling accounts such as Gucci Perfumes and Make Up Forever, then as a Marketing assistant for a department store, organising events. She then moved to the UK, where she graduated with a Master’s Degree in Business Management, with a major in New Ventures Creations. That degree really sparked her passion for entrepreneurship and with an eye on Asia and a restlessness to experience different cultures, she moved to Singapore, where she studied fashion technology for a year and sat up her first business, a resort wear brand. 3 years down the line, she moved back to London where she worked 6 months in a corporate position before falling gravely sick. Unable to work for the following 6 months, the time off led to a deep soul searching and what lifestyle she really wanted for herself. She thought about designing again, this time a bikini line, which eventually led her to Bali, seeking a factory for her production and a life away from the big city and the rat race. A couple of adventures and fate encounters later, she is now a model and the owner of Holiday, a café and art gallery located in Canggu. Hers is a story of finding herself through seeking a meaning in everything she does and learning to adapt quickly to the changes and opportunities that life brings.
