The New Era of Decentralization

Arnold, product manager of Baliverse NFT and co-founder of Bali Blockchain Community, will introduce the basic of blockchain technology and web3. Blockchain is a type of Digital Ledger Technology that consists of growing list of records called blocks, that are securely linked together using cryptography. The web, also known as the World Wide Web, is the foundational layer for how the internet is used, providing website and application services. Using the blockchain as its underlying technology, Web3 is the future of the internet where one of the targets is to bring control and privacy in user hand while providing the biggest economic benefit to the creator/user side. Arnold will also share about some project examples of the technology.

Arnold Ong is the product manager of Baliverse NFT, an NFT product by Bali United FC. He is currently active in Bali Web3 space and co-founded Bali Blockchain Community. Arnold has more than 20 years of creative industry experiences, and has the passion to share knowledge and wonder of web3 and blockchain technology.
