Event Description:
In this unique event, Dojo Bali brings you to the heart of Indonesian society and communities. Filmed by Satu Bumi Jaya, a team of writers, filmmakers, photographers, and designers based in Indonesia, these series of short stories explore the richness of Indonesian culture and give a voice to communities that are often unheard. The short films will be explored through interactive Q&A and discussion with Satu Bumi Jaya’s founder, to give us the chance to further encourage our awareness and critical thinking about what matters now in Indonesia. A fascinating journey not to be missed!

About the Speaker:
After almost 2 decades of traveling, living, and learning across Indonesia, Will Shea formed Satu Bumi Jaya with the aim to another forum through which the stories and struggles of the nation’s communities and its environment could be provided a voice. A writer by passion with a background in international development programs, Satu Bumi Jaya has allowed a space in which Will’s career, hobby, and love/hate relationship with his adopted home could all come together.
