API are eating the world. This word is everywhere, though you have a hard time figuring out exactly what it’s about.
In this workshop you’ll learn what API really is along with some web examples (Google Maps, Twitter, Twilio). We’ll also dig deeper into integrating a call into Google Geocoding API, sending message with Twilio API, and a lot more. Other cases like Webhooks and Zapier will be discussed as well. It’s a good time and place to start!

About The Speaker:
Eli Johnston is a Fullstack Teacher at Le Wagon, originally coming from a strategy consulting background he first got introduced to coding at Dojo Bali before becoming a student of the bootcamp himself. He now spends his time teaching across Le Wagon campuses and consulting on projects at the intersection of technology and sustainability. He is currently exploring the role that software can play in fostering a modern culture rooted in ecology.
