Launched in the UK in 2013 we create custom design eyewear for active individuals. We let you design your eyewear as you want it, and ensure you don’t break the bank doing it.

Melon is now a recognised name in surf, skate, MTB and snowsport circles thanks to our custom design concept and continually developing performance optics.

Melon has a close relationship with Dojo, we worked from here in 2015/16 to enable a lifestyle of running a business while surfing every day. During our time in Dojo in 2016 we decided to start up Melon Optics Indonesia and after several years of risk taking, winging it and lots of fun, we now boast 4 custom concept stores in Bali/Lombok as well as presence in many leading lifestyle stores. In our concept stores you can create your own sunglasses live from thousands of combinations, all are polarised and come at an affordable price. Did we also mention ready in 2 minutes?!

The customising experience is carried out on large touch screens, and with the support of our lovely Melon crew if you need it – you can try as many combinations as you wish until you get the right one for you. Happy customising!
