Christian Giacobbe, founder of Bali Comedy Club and first “bule” to have a Comedy Special in Indonesia will show you how! This intensive workshop will be divided in two 5 hours sessions (plus homeworks) where you will learn comedy writing, techniques and mastering deliveries, and have a chance to perform in one of Bali Comedy Club shows!
Program:
This intensive workshop will be divided in two 5 hours sessions (plus homeworks). The first day you will learn the structure of a joke and how to write a set, while the second day will be focused on performing.
At the end you’ll have a chance to perform in one of Bali Comedy Club shows!

About the teacher:
Christian Giacobe:
In February 2020, Chris took Bali by a storm, founding BCC (Bali Comedy Club) hence making the island one of the most vibrant comedy scenes in all South East Asia.
He hosts and headlines the now famed Canggu Comedy Night, where every Friday hundreds of people come watch him perform, as well as several other weekly shows. In early 2021, he became the first ever foreigner to have a Comedy Special in Indonesia and he just shoot his second Comedy Special “Pregnant”.
He also headlined shows in Jakarta, Gili Trawangan, Lombok and he is now organizing both a national and international tour. Comedy Central Indonesia took notice and thanks to him signed a multi-projects deal which involves the whole BCC. Few weeks ago, he became the first comedian to headline an English show on Kompas Tv (one of the biggest Indonesian national tv stations). His ultimate goal is to make Bali the English speaking comedy capital of Asia!
